Kyle võttis endale ühe tunni Esmaspäevast Reedeni 9-10 hommikul. Ta ei ole hommiku inimene ja seetõttu on tal väga raske hommikuti üles ärgata, ihii. Ta õpetab ühele mehele, kes on fotograaf kuu aega inglise keelt, peale seda ta enam hommikuti tunde anda ei taha. Viimased päevad on Kyle iga päev süüa teinud. Olen üks õnnelik tüdruk. Täna kui ta koju jõudis valmistas ta maitsva omleti enne kui uuesti tööle läks. Mina läksin tööle 17ks ja jälle mängisin Gonzaloga pargis 2 tundi. Koju jõudes ootas mind jälle üllatus, Kyle valmistas õhtusööki- riis seente, küüslaaugu ja krevettidega..mmmm.. see oli nii maitsev. Ta on mul ikka parim!!!

Kyle took one class every morning 9-10. It’s intensive class and it lasts only one month. That was the only reason he took it, because he is not a morning person and it’s really hard for him to wake up so early. So, I can say that I’m his alarm clock, because I’m waking up him every morning. It takes me like at least 20 minutes to wake him up- Kyle, Kyle, it’s time to wake up, come on wake up, don’t fall asleep again etc. At least the guy he is teaching is interesting person-some kind of artist. He is fotographer or something, I don’t know exactly. Last few days Kyle has been cooking all the time. I’m a lucky girl! Today when he got home from work he made delicious omlet and then after couple of hours went to work again. I spent my evening in park playing with Gonzalo. When I got home from work there was surprise waiting for me. Kyle was cooking dinner. He is amazing, that’s all I can say!!! He was cooking rice with mushrooms, shrimp and garlic. It was sooooooooo good. Love goes through the stomach.

Esmaspäev/Monday

Kyle läks kella 13st tööle ja mina läksin panka otsima, kus saaksime konto teha, et Kyle saaks endale spordiklubi kaardi teha ning samuti et saaksime telefoni kuukaardi osta. Mina läksin esimest korda tööle täna. Hakkasin 16 paiku sõitma, kuna metrooga sõidan 20-25 minutit ja pean veel 15 minutit sinna korterisse jalutama. Kell 17:15 läksime Gonzalole bussi vastu koos tema emaga. Gonzalo on 2,5 aastane poiss kelle lapsehoidja ja inglise keele õpetaja ma olen esmaspäevast neljapäevani 17-20. Ta käib koolis väljaspool Madriidi. Jalutasime koju ja nende korteri lähedal nägi ta väikest poissi kes sõitis politseiautoga. Muidugi hakkas ta nutma kui selgus, et tema ei saa sellega sõita. Kuna ta oli kindlasti ka pikast päevast väsinud siis jonnis ta lausa 2 tundi. Ma juba hirmunult mõtlesin, et kas ta selline ongi koguaeg, see oleks hirmus olnud, aga õnneks rahunes varsti maha ning läksime parki mängima koos teise lapsehoidjaga, kes hoiab väikest 8 kuust poissi ja kes elab nendega koos. Pargis oli ta lõbus väike poiss. Mängisime 2 tundi pargis ja seejärel jalutasime koju. Eks natukene raske on, kuna ma ei saa koguaeg temast aru sest ta räägib hispaania keeles. Mina aga räägin temaga ainult inglise keeles, sest ega ta muudmoodi ei õpi seda rääkima. Selgitan asju lihtsalt ja loodan, et ta ikka saab aru, sest koolis räägitakse temaga ka ainult inglise keeles. Arvan, et esimene päev oli edukas. Homme jälle! Ainuke asi on see, et ma pole harjunud töötama õhtuti, seega see on ainult väsitav. Olen harjunud 9-17 tööpäevaga ja õhtud on vabad, aga mis teha, siin teistsugune töögraafik. Pean natukene harjuma.

Kyle went to work 2 o’clock and I went to find a bank where I can do an account. We need the account so Kyle can buy gym membership and we can start paying monthly for the phone. I had a first day as a babysitter and a english teacher. I’m working 5-8 PM Monday to Thursday usually, but days switch sometimes. It takes me 45 minutes to get to the place where this family lives. I’m babysitting 2,5 year old boy. His name is Gonzalo. I have to pick him up from buss stop every day. He is going to school an hour away from the city. It’s english speaking school. (It’s not a real school, but they call it school, mayby it’s a preschool) Her mom wants him to learn english in young age. This time we went to pick him up together. Then we walked back home. On the way home he saw a boy driving with small police car. He wanted to drive it too, but the other boy was a little bit jealous, so he started to cry. I think he was also tired from school, because he has long days. He was crying long time and I was really hoping that his not like that all the time. Finally he calmed down and we went to the park to play. Other nanny came with me too. He is live in nanny who is taking care of 8 months old boy. We were playing in the park for 2 hours. At least he was having fun playing with other children. I can understand some words he is saying, but not everything. I’m talking with him only in English. I’m explaining things, telling what he can or cannot do. I think I had an succesful first day at work. Tomorrow again. Only thing what I’m not used to is working in the evenings. I’m used to working 8 AM- 5 PM every day, so if I’m staying home all day and then have to go to work it’s something new to me. It takes a little bit time to get used do, but I think I’ll be fine!

Pühapäev/Sunday

Üllatus üllatus.. kui üles ärkasin valmistas mu kallike hommikusööki :) Jalutasime kinno, et näha mis filmid neil on ja palju pilet maksab. Kahjuks jäime 20 minutit hiljaks filmile mida näha tahtsime ja muud midagi meile silma ei hakanud. Jalutasime Plaza Mayori poole, kus olid 2 suurt telki, kus toimus Argentiina näitus. Müüdi erinevaid sööke, jooke, ehteid, suveniire jne. Ostsime pisikese koti täie puuvilja maitselisi marmelaade. Need olid nii maitsvad. Jalutasime kaubamaja poole ja seal toimus tasuta kontsert. Bänd oli hea aga kaua kuulata ei saanud kuna hakkas vihma sadama ja läksime koju. Õhtul tellisime Doomino pizza ja vaatasime ameerika jalgpalli. Meie meeskond- Redskins võitis, jeeee ;)

Surprise Surprise... When I woke up Kyle was making me breakfast. He is precious!!! In the afternoon we went for a walk in the central and also wanted to go and see a movie, but we were late 20 minutes to the movie we wanted to see. Next time. We walked towards Plaza Mayor. There was Argentina exhibition. There were a lot of food, drinks and souvenirs from Argentina. We found a lot of cool things, but we didn’t buy anything. Only thing we bought were different fruit flavor marmelade. Those were delicious. After that we walked towards El Corte Ingles mall and saw that there was a free concert. Some band was performing on big stage, there were so many people. I have no idea who they were, but the music was good. We listened to it for a bit and then went home, because it started to rain. Kyle went to buy Dominos pizza for dinner. It was really good. Kyle said that it’s better in here than in US. While eating pizza we were watching Redskins game. They won, yaya!!!!!!

Oehh, te ei kujuta ette kui raske oli üles ärgata kell 7 hommikul, kuna saime magada ainult 3-4 tundi. Olime mõlemad nii väsinud. Meie buss väljus 8:30 ja tunni aja pärast olime San Martini viinamarja väljadel. Me võime nüüd mõlemad öelda, et oleme Hispaanias viinamarju korjanud. 20 minutit oli lahe, aga kui saime teada, et peame viinamarju korjama 2 tundi siis enam nii lahe ei olnud :D Vaade viinamarjapõllult mägedele oli äge. Viinamarjad ise olid väga maitsvad. Tubli töö eest said kõik endale pudeli kohalikku veini. Lõuna paiku tuli buss meile järgi ja viis meid kohta, kus valmistatakse kohalikku veini. Seal valmistatud vein on saanud tiitli Kolmas parim vein Hispaanias. Peale ekskursiooni sõitsime bussiga kusagile farmi, kus söime lõunat. Meie sõitsime tagasi varem, kuna 2 sõpra Tallinnast- Liivi ja Martin ööbisid meie juures Madriidis. Olin küll väga väsinud, aga läksime kõik neljakesi välja linna peale jalutama ja õhtust sööma. Jällegi üks tore laupäev möödas!

You have no idea how hard it was to wake up 7am, when you only got 3 hours sleep. I’m still surprised that we both did it. Our bus left 8:30 am to go to San Martin Vineyards. It was 1 hour bus ride and everybody were sleeping in the bus, because it was Friday yesterday. Finally bus stoped in the middle of nowhere and left. What now? :D We saw the grape fields and we started to pick grapes. That was so cool. Now we can say that we have picked grapes in Spain, not everybody can do that. It was fun first 20 minutes and when we found out that we have to pick the grapes for 2 hours it wasn’t that fun anymore, lol:) The view what we saw while picking grapes was amazing. The grapes were delicious and after doing a good job everybody got a bottle of wine. After that we went to the winery to see how the wine is made. When I saw the place I knew that I don’t want to drink wine what comes from there. All the street dust came inside the house and on the grapes...but we found out the the wine over there is the 3rd best wine in Spain. I was surprised. After the excursion we drove to La Ventana farm where we ate lunch and took a siesta. We went back to Madrid, because 2 of my friends from Estonia came to stay with us for one night. They are going to USA and had a layover in Madrid. We all went out for a walk in the city and ate dinner in a good restaurant. Kyle met my first two friends, cool :)

Reede/Friday

Kella 10:30 paiku hakkas keegi uksele koputama ja see meid üles ärataski. Remondimehed tulid meie vannituba üle vaatama, et kusagilt tilgub vett alla korrusele. Pika otsimise peale leiti viga mis ka tunni aja pärast ära parandati. Veetsime rahuliku päeva kodus filme vaadates. Õhtul läksime koos Mary, Julie, Laura ja Jenniga kusagile penthouse (katusekorter kusagil kesklinnas) kus toimus pidu. Mary oli mingi kutiga tuttavaks saanud, kes ta sinna kutsus. Kohale jõudes olid korteris ainult kutid. Korter oli super ilus ja vaade rõdult oli hämmastav. Poisid olid just lõpetanud õhtusöögi valmistamise ja saime ka proovida maitsvat salatit ning kala. Õhtu oli lõbus ning edasi suundusime kõik kusagile lähedal asuvasse baari. Hea oli kohalikega tuttavaks saada, sest sai natukene ka hispaania keelt õppida. Meie õhtu lõppes kell 3 öösel, kuna pidime ärkama 7st et minna viinamarju korjama.

Esmaspäeval käisin ühel tööintervjuul. Lapsehoidja ja inglise keele õpetaja 2,5 aastasele poisile. Täna helistas selle poisi ema ja ütles, et sain selle töö- esmaspäevast neljapäevani 17-20. Kolmapäeval lähen 2,5 tunnisele kursusele sinna samasse kooli kus Kyle’il TEFL kursus toimus. Peale seda saan kooli kaudu ka tööd inglise keele õpetajana, mis on jällegi hea uudis.

Around 10 o’clock somebody started to knocking on the door and woke us up. Repairmans came to check our bathroom, because the water was leaking from somewhere to the 1st floor. They found the spot and fixed it. We spent the day at home watching movies and in the evening we went to a party in a penthouse with Mary, Julie, Laura and Jenn. Mary knows one guy and he invited her and she invited us, lol :D The penthouse was awesome and the view was amazing. There were 10 guys making dinner, so we kinda crashed a dinner party, but we also got to taste the dinner they made. The fish and salad were so good. The party was fun. After midnight we went out to a bar, but our night ended around 3 o’clock, because we had to wake up 7 in the morning to go and pick some grapes.

I had an interview on Monday for a babysitter/english teacher job for 2,5 year old boy. Today the mom called me and told that she choosed me. The job is Monday to Thursday 5-8pm. I’m not making a lot of money, but still it’s something what’s good. On Wednesday I have a 2,5 hour class in Cantebury and after that the school will give me english teaching jobs also. It’s another good news.

Appi, me magasime kella 3ni päeval. Kuidas see võimalik on :D Ei tea kuidas meil seda und nii kauaks jätkus. Õhtul kella 10 paiku kui Kyle töölt koju tuli läksime oma ühte lemmik baari, kus igal kolmapäeval on kõik söögid ja joogid ainult 1 euro. Ostsime 6 erinevat tapat ja 2 klaasi tintot mis on siis punane vein. Hea oli veel see, et joogid saime tasuta kuna baarmen unustas need arvele lisada! Pärast maitsvat õhtusöögi läksime ühte korterisse kus olid kõik meie sõbrad ning mõne aja pärast suundusime linna peale. Üsna kiiresti andsime alla, et leida baar mis on avatud, kuna sellel päeval toimus streik linnas, kuna inimestel pole piisavalt palju töökohti. Selle tõttu olid ka enamus poed ja baarid suletud. Sattusime kusagile maa alusesse baari, kus mängiti 80ndate muusikat ja eks ka inimesed sarnanesid selle ajastuga. Joogid olid seal hirmus kallis, aga Madriidis on see hea, et öösiti käivad hiinlased kottidega mööda linna ja müüvad odavalt õlut. Neid kohtab iga nurga peal.

O my god.. we woke up 3 o’clock today. How did we sleep so long? :D In the evening Kyle went to work and after that we went to Montoditos bar where every Wednesday all drinks and food are 1 euro. We bought 6 different tapas and two drinks- tintos- what is red sparkling wine. Bartender forgot to add drinks to our check so we got those for free, yay! After delicious dinner we went to meet some friends. We all went out to look for a bar, but nothing was open, because there was a strike on that day in Madrid. The reason for the strike was that people don’t have enough jobs. So we found one underground bar what was interesting. They played 80 music and the people looked like from that time also. Good thing in Madrid is that chinese people walk around the city with bags and sell cheap beer, so if you don’t want to buy beer from the bar just go on the streets and find a chinese people. Usually they sell 1 beer for 1 euro, but you can a deal like 6 beers 5 euros, lol :D

Vara hommikul saime kokku ühe mehega, kes töötab Ameerika reisibüroo jaoks ja kelle kaudu saame võib olla häid lennuki ja rongipiletite pakkumisi. Pärast seda jalutasime natukene linna peal. Ostsime endale euroopa kaardi seina peale, et saaksime märkida kus riikides/linnades oleme käinud ja kuhu tahame veel reisida. Enne kui Kyle 7ks tööle läks valmistasime maitsvad kalkuni tortillad. Õhtul kui Kyle töölt koju tuli läksime saime Chrisiga kokku ja jõime klaasi veini ühes baaris. Pärast seda saime kokku ka teistega ning lõpuks sattusime kõik jälle ühte rokibaari kus ennegi olime käinud. Hispaanias saab ikka baarides sees suitsetada, mis mulle üldse ei meeldi. Olin juba nii ära harjunud, et nii Eestis kui ka USAs enam ei suitsetata baarides.

Early in the morning we met with a guy who is working for an American travel agency. Mayby we can get some good deals through him for train and plane tickets. After that meeting we went for a walk in the city central bought a europe map to put on the wall, so we can put stickers to the places we have been and the places we want to go. Before Kyle went to work we made turkey tortillas at home. When Kyle came home from work we went for a drink with Chris and after that went to another bar with other people too. In Spain people can still smoke inside the bars and I don’t like it at all. I was so used to that in Estonia and in USA nobody can’t smoke inside anymore. Now if I leave the bar all my close smell like smoke.
